CLOTHED WITH PROTECTION

Clothed with Protection (2023) was a vaccination outreach program and community fashion show, initiated out of a collaboration between IGC Fashion and Luke Jerram (UK), supported by the University of Southampton and IMPRINT Network. This project featured workshops and health education for the community as well as a costume collection promoting vaccination in pregnant women co-created by 10 Ugandan designers. The collection celebrated themes of vaccination, community, gender equality, and maternity under the motto “vaccinations clothe you and your baby with protection.”
